An Ili.
An ili and a kete are types of items that Maori people make by weaving flax. The ili is used for cooling themselves down. The red weave stands for the mother and the blue one is the father. The weave in the middle are the children.
The kete is used to carry food and other belongings.
I was very little when I made these items but they were very easy once I learnt how to do it.
